New Member Talk "My Legal Work in Somalia"
Our meeting program and speaker for our Feb. 18 meeting is:
Club member Lindsay Barnes -- with his very belated New Member Introduction Talk.
Lindsay is a Litigation Associate at Cadwalader, WIckersham& Taft LLP in Washington DC.
Lindsay and his family live in Arlington VA. He joined our club in late 2019, upon the recommendation of his then law firm colleague Dale Lazar, who was a member of the Mclean Rotary. Lindsay currently serves as our Club Service Chair and is our President Nominee, to serve in Rotary Year 22/23.
His talk will focus on the time he helped a client sue the high-ranking Somali military officer who tortured him -- and after a long legal battle, they won the case! For Lindsay's LinkedIn profile: click here.
