World Polio Day Club Special Celebration

Our club usually meets just on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month -- but this month we have a special meeting on Thursday, Oct. 22 to commemorate World Polio Day -- which is officially Oct. 24, the birth date of Dr. Jonas Salk.

Club Past President and current Community Service Chair Carlota McCormack has planned a special meeting with activities to educate and update us on Rotary's efforts to eradicate polio -- and how we can each help including with a financial gift (matched 2:1 by the Gates Foundation).
